King County Election Audit Highlights Accountability

King County Elections conducted a risk-limiting audit following the August 4 Primary Election as part of Washington's post-election verification process. Julie Wise, King County Director of Elections, oversees election administration and procedures designed to ensure accurate and transparent results. When election results are lawfully challenged or legitimate questions arise, voters and candidates deserve a transparent process to verify the results in accordance with Washington law.

Dr. Anthony Fauci's Refusal to Answer Questions

Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and repeatedly invoked his 5th Amendment right more than 100 times, declining to answer questions about the origins of Covid-19, federally funded research, and federal pandemic response. Senator Rand Paul announced that the committee would vote on whether to hold Dr Fauci in contempt for shielding culpability.

Remembering July 13, 2024

Today marks two years since the attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. This solemn anniversary reminds us that political violence has no place in America. Elle Nguyen continues to pray for President Trump, the victims and families affected by that tragic day, and the safety of all who step forward to serve our nation. We must remain united in defending freedom, protecting our constitutional republic, and resolving our differences through peaceful democratic participation—not violence.

Elle Nguyen Honors Senator Lindsey Graham

Elle Nguyen joins Americans across the nation in mourning the untimely passing of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Senator Graham devoted decades of his life to serving our country. Elle extends her heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, staff, colleagues, and the people of South Carolina. His dedication to public service will not be forgotten. May Senator Graham's tenacious spirit and steadfast dedication to public service inspire me as I seek to serve the people of Legislative District 41.

New State Income Tax Challenged as Unconstitutional

Governor Bob Ferguson signed SB 6346 into law, establishing a 9.9% tax on Washington taxable income above $1 million. The legislation represents a significant change to Washington's tax system and is scheduled to apply beginning with the 2028 tax year.

Elle Nguyen officially filed her candidacy for Washington State Representative, Legislative District 41, Position 1. The campaign is underway.
