Widowed Mother of Two
Elle Nguyen knows what it means to face real challenges. As a widowed mother, she has navigated the demands of raising a family on her own while building a small business from the ground up. These experiences gave her a deep understanding of what Washington families go through every day.
Elle's interest in government and public service is rooted in her family history. Her father served as legal counsel to the president of South Vietnam, giving her an early appreciation for law, leadership, and the consequences of government decisions. During the Obama era, Elle became increasingly engaged in politics and public policy, eventually leading her to advocate for families, youth, and greater accountability in government.
Elle is running for Washington State Representative because LD-41 deserves a voice that is honest, transparent, and accountable to the people—not to special interests. Elle is not a career politician, she is a businesswoman and one of us.
“What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” — Micah 6:8
